Cleaning Instructions

Always check the care label before washing. Linen abayas are best hand washed to preserve the fabric and stitching.

To maintain your linen:

• Hand wash in cool or lukewarm water using a mild, delicate detergent.
• Gently agitate the fabric and avoid scrubbing, twisting, or wringing.
• Soak for 5-10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Machine washing:

• Suitable only for unembellished, high-quality linen.
• Use a delicate cycle with cold or lukewarm water.
• Place inside a mesh laundry bag and wash with similar lightweight fabrics.
• Never use bleach or harsh detergents.

Drying & Care

Air dry only. Gently press excess water out. Lay flat or hang on a padded hanger, away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.

Ironing & Storage

Iron while slightly damp on a medium-high linen setting, preferably on the reverse side. Steaming is recommended for embroidered designs. Store on wide padded hangers or with tissue paper if folded, using breathable garment covers.
